NOTOOL — Free Trial Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NOTOOL ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NOTOOL is a document analysis and query platform that processes uploaded documents using AI to provide insights, summaries, and extracted information. This free trial operates on shared infrastructure with other users and is intended for evaluation purposes only. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Free Trial Limitations

This is an evaluation service. By using the free trial you acknowledge that:

• This service runs on shared infrastructure alongside other trial users
• Your usage, queries, and interactions are logged for product development and quality improvement
• Telemetry data including query content, response quality, and usage patterns is collected and reviewed by the Service Provider
• This is not a production environment and should not be relied upon for critical business decisions
• Features, availability, and performance may vary without notice

4. Your Data

All documents and files you upload remain your intellectual property at all times. NOTOOL does not claim ownership of your source materials. Analysis, reports, and other outputs generated during the free trial are provided for evaluation purposes only.

5. Third-Party Processing

To deliver the Service, uploaded documents are processed by third-party AI providers (including Google and Anthropic) via their APIs. Document content is transmitted to these providers for analysis and is not permanently stored on their servers beyond the duration of processing. By using the Service, you confirm you have the right to process the documents you upload through these third-party services.

6. Data Retention

Documents and generated outputs uploaded during the free trial are retained indefinitely on the Service Provider's infrastructure unless you request deletion. To request deletion, contact [email protected].

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models or pipeline architecture
• Share your access credentials with unauthorised parties
• Upload content you do not have the right to process

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without any representations or warranties, express or implied. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies including but not limited to pricing, quantities, specifications, and compliance assessments. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs before relying on them. The Service does not provide legal, financial, engineering, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the free trial. As this is a free service, the Service Provider's total liability is limited to nil.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider from any claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your upload of infringing content, or your reliance on outputs without proper verification.

11. Changes to Terms

The Service Provider may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. For the enterprise service, changes require 30 days written notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
